Preparation Directions: You will need: 2-2 1/2 cups water; 1/2 cup 25 milk; 2 tablespoons butter. Oven: 1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. 2. In a 1/2-quart baking dish, stir together potatoes, sauce mix, 2 cups boiling (use boiling water for best potato texture and sauce appearance) water, 1/2 cup 2% milk, and 2 tablespoons butter. 3. Bake uncovered about 25 minutes or until top is light golden brown and potatoes are tender. 4 .Remove from oven (sauce will thicken as it stands). Microwave: 1. Stir together potatoes, sauce mix, 2 1/2 cups hot water, 1/2 cup 2% milk, and 2 tablespoons butter in a 2-quart microwave-safe dish. 2. Microwave uncovered on high for 13 to 18 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes, until potatoes are tender (sauce will thicken as it stands). Caution: Product and container will be hot! Note: Microwave ovens vary in power; adjust cooking time accordingly. High altitude: Increase hot water to 2 3/4 cups and microwave time to 15 to 20 minutes.
