Washington® Chicken Breading Mix. Great on veggies! Fully seasoned for frying chicken and vegetables. One step breader.

      Ingredients

Enriched Bleached Flour (Wheat Flour, Niacin, Iron, Thiamine Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid), Yellow Corn Flour, Salt, Spices, Natural Flavor, Onion Powder, Turmeric.

      Directions

Directions for breading chicken: 1) Empty the "Washington chicken breading mix" into a medium size bag or a mixing bowl. 2) Moisten chicken with water or milk and remove the excess. 3) Coat chicken 1 or 2 pieces at a time by tumbling in the bag or mixing bowl filled with the "Washington chicken breading mix". 4) Let chicken stand for several minutes. 5) If a thicker coating is desired, pre-dust the chicken with the breader, dip the pre-dusted pieces in water or milk and then tumble in the breader until thoroughly coated. 6) Deep fry: fry at 350 degrees F for 12-15 minutes. Pan fry: fry in about 1/4" of oil or shortening at 350 degrees F for 8-9-minutes on each side. Fry times may vary depending on size of chicken pieces. Directions for breading vegetables: 1) Rinse vegetables and let stand and dry. 2) Make an egg wash by mixing 1/2 cup of milk and 1 egg with a fork. 3) Empty the "Washington chicken breading mix" into a medium size bag or mixing bowl. 4) Dust vegetables with the "Washington chicken breading mix" - remove the excess. 5) Dip the predusted vegetables in the egg wash. 6) Bread again with the "Washington chicken breading mix". 7) Deep fry or pan fry at 350 degrees F until light golden brown. Turn once to insure even browning. Make it spicy! To 1 cup of Washington chicken breader, add 1 tbsp of red pepper, 1 tsp of black pepper, and 1/4 tsp of white pepper. Blend spices and chicken breader together with a wire whip until spices are uniformly blended. Coat chicken as directed and let the pieces stand for about 5 minutes. Fry chicken as directed on back panel. Note: If a thicker, spicier coating is desired, pre-dust the chicken with the breader, dip the pre-dusted pieces in water or milk and then tumble in the breader until thoroughly coated. Fry as directed.
